MEET JACLYN M. RICKOFF, DDS

“I strive to give each and every patient I treat 110% of my care, attention, and compassion. I am very grateful to have met so many amazing people throughout my career as a dentist and wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

Dr. Rickoff was born in Minnesota, outside of the Twin Cities. She spent most of her childhood there, playing in the snow in the winter and in the Minnesota lakes in the summer. She moved to Carmel when she was 10 years old, and become known as the girl with the “funny accent” to her fifth grade class at College Wood Elementary. The accent is gone (for the most part), and Dr. Rickoff has fond memories of both her childhood in Minnesota and her adolescence in Carmel. She and her three other siblings, a sister and two brothers, attended Carmel public schools throughout, eventually graduating from Carmel High School.

Dr. Rickoff pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, Iowa. There she received her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Physiology, with a minor in Psychology. Though no longer in Iowa, she remains an avid Hawkeye football fan, much to the dismay of her steadfastly Hoosier husband.

Following undergrad, Dr. Rickoff attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She considers IU her “second school” and thus does root on the Hoosiers from time to time (so long as they are not playing the Hawkeyes).

In 2013, Dr. Rickoff married her husband Brett. In 2016, they gave birth to their first son Carter, and in 2018, welcomed their second son Henry to the family. They also share their home with their sweet rescue dog, Millie, who they adopted from the Humane Society in 2011. Dr. Rickoff likes to call her a “hodge podge”, as she is much more interesting than the term “mutt” affords!

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rickoff enjoys spending time with her family above all else. Her parents and two brothers and their families live locally, and her sister is a short drive away, living in Chicago. Her in-laws also live in town, including her two brothers-in-law and their families. She has four nephews that she adores, and loves that her son has four cousins in town. She also enjoys taking Millie on walks with her husband and son, cheering on both the Hawkeyes and Hoosiers, reading, and trying new restaurants and recipes. She is an avid baker, loving any and all sweets (but of course being sure to brush and floss afterward!). She would love to try any new recipes or restaurant recommendations you have–feel free to share!

Dr. Rickoff’s main goal as a clinician is to provide the highest quality dental care in the most comfortable, familiar way. She strives to get to know her patients on an individual basis, and to cater to their dental and comfort needs as a unique individual.

WELCOME OLIVIA BENSON, DDS – JANUARY 2020!

Rickoff Dentistry is growing, and in order to continue providing you with the best high-quality dental care, we are bringing on a new dentist to join Dr. Jaclyn Rickoff. Please help us welcome Dr. Olivia Benson!

Dr. Rickoff is very excited to welcome Dr. Benson to Rickoff Dentistry beginning January 2, 2020!

Originally from Northwest Indiana, Dr. Benson attended Indiana University in Bloomington for undergrad, and is a 2015 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry.

She then continued to pursue a year long General Practice Residency at the Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Benson has spent the last three years practicing dentistry on the north side of Indianapolis where she gained extensive education, training and experience with dental implant placement, Cerec digital restorations, dental sleep medicine and Botox therapy for treating TMJ pain.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Benson enjoys reading, exercise, playing with her Pomeranian and trying new restaurants around Indianapolis. She and her husband were thrilled to welcome their first child, a daughter, in October of 2019.

With the addition of Dr. Benson to our talented Rickoff Dentistry team, we are able to offer our patients additional days for appointments and expanded dental services including Botox, dental implants, root canals, and extractions.
